Wakatake is a Japanese tea house on the sixth floor of Daimaru Fukuoka Tenjin's Elgala building in Tenjin, Fukuoka. It serves chasoba, a chicken set, anmitsu, and mitsumame, with the grilled chasoba and chicken set as meal items and the anmitsu and mitsumame as sweets. Large windows look down onto the Tenjin streets and the city hall event plaza, and the room can fill up at lunch. The griddled chasoba noodles are overcooked and lack kosi.
