Gopchang Guksu

Gopchang Guksu is a Taiwanese noodle shop a 10-minute walk from Santos Hotel Taipei, serving noodles with oysters, gopchang, and meat. The signature dish is oyster gopchang noodles, ordered with the amount of cilantro adjusted and eaten with soy sauce, minced garlic, and sauce from the table. Many locals order takeout, and the owner speaks English, which makes ordering easier; payment is made on the way out after eating. Lines form often, so the wait can run about 20 minutes.
