The Andong Yonggye-ri Ginkgo Tree stands near Imha Lake in Andong, a centuries-old tree designated as a natural monument. It was relocated after the construction of the Imha Dam threatened to submerge it, and it now stands with a view over the lake. The surrounding area is quiet and not crowded like a tourist site, so the lake can be viewed in peace. Parking space is small or nonexistent, which makes access difficult.
