Sumiyakigyutanhigashiyama Hakatadaimaruten

Gyutan Higashiyama Daimaru Fukuoka Tenjin is a restaurant on the sixth floor of Tenjin Daimaru that serves thick grilled beef tongue set meals. The sets come with grilled beef tongue, barley rice, and oxtail soup containing beef tongue, and there is also a set eaten with grated yam. On weekday lunchtimes the seats fill up quickly even if you arrive early, and the food comes out relatively fast. Rice can be chosen in small, medium, or large portions, and while the soup is hot, the meat and rice are sometimes served lukewarm.
