Seasonal Fresh Fish and Motsu Hot Pot Hakata Yamaya

Hakata Yamaya is a motsu nabe restaurant on the Nakasu riverfront in Fukuoka. Its signature dish is a soy sauce-based motsu nabe, and the tai-meshi is served in a tom yum kung style. At lunch, mentaiko, freshly stir-fried dishes, and rice are offered as unlimited refills. In the evening, reservations fill up and entry has been refused, so booking ahead is required.
