Gangneung Jeonbok Haenyeo Village

Gangneung Jeonbok Haenyeo Maeul is an abalone porridge restaurant in Gangneung, located in front of Saint John's Hotel. Its main dish is abalone porridge cooked in a pressure cooker to order, served with a haenyeo table that includes abalone hoe, sea cucumber, and sea squirt. The same table also comes with abalone mulhoe, grilled flatfish, naengjeyuk, and steamed scallops and mussels. Seating is available on the second floor, so the dining space can be used separately.
