Site of Poet Yun Dong-ju's Boarding House

Yundongju Hasukjip Teo is a historic site in the alley behind Tongin Market at the foot of Inwangsan, on the way to Suseongdong Valley. The poet Yun Dong-ju stayed here for about five months, from May to September 1941, and wrote Byeol Heneun Bam and Jahwasang at this spot. A signboard marks the boarding house site, and people stop to take a photo on the way to Suseongdong Valley. The hanok and boarding house traces are gone, so it now looks like an ordinary residential area.
