Tapgol Park Palgakjeong is a cultural heritage site in Seoul that holds the history of the March 1st Movement. Next to the pavilion stands the ten-story marble Wongaksa Pagoda. When the British man Brown laid out Tapgol Park, the pavilion was built along with it. During the March 1st Movement, students and citizens read the declaration of independence and shouted for independence in front of this place.
