The Book Society

The Book Society is a bookstore on a quiet street in Seochon, in front of the Blue House, selling art books and independent publications from Korea and abroad. A cafe sits inside the store in a shop-in-shop layout, so visitors pick up and read books amid the smell of coffee. Art books, including catalogues raisonnés and books about books, fill the shelves, and one side of the space is used as a gallery. Across the street, On Ground Gallery holds free exhibitions.
