The Bank of Korea Money Museum displays currency from Korea and other countries, and sits near Myeongdong and Namdaemun. Its exhibits include sangpyeong tongbo coins, North Korean currency, and the sizes, shapes, and histories of money from around the world. Admission is free, and visitors can lift the weight of money and try telling counterfeit bills apart. On the second floor, the past appearance of Namdaemun-ro, the street running from Namdaemun to Jonggak, is on view.
