Legend of the Fisherman

The Legend of the Fisherman is a restaurant near Chungmuro in Seoul that serves seafood and haesintang. The haesintang is made with live octopus, nakji, and vegetables, and is eaten with hot broth. The restaurant can fill up, so call ahead to check for a table, and at lunch it runs a Korean buffet in the style of baekban. The dining space is small enough that people sit close together when it gets crowded.
