Kamigamo Handicraft Market

Kamigamo Handmade Market is a crafts market held beside Kamigamo Shrine in Kyoto, set among trees and a stream. It runs only on the last Sunday of each month, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Vendors sell mushrooms seasoned with tea and traditional soy sauce sourced from farmers, along with handmade bread and cakes. Japanese-style goods are fewer in number than Western-style crafts.
