House of the Rising Sun

Haetteuneun Jip is a vegetarian restaurant in Juwol-dong, Gwangju. Its vegetarian jjambbong uses a clean broth made from several mushrooms and green vegetable noodles, and the restaurant also serves pat kalguksu and vegetarian mandu. The cooking avoids chemical seasonings and produces a clear taste, and in summer kongmul guksu is also served. The vegetarian jjambbong contains no seafood.
