The Stone Road Entrance sits in a residential neighborhood near Shuri Castle in Okinawa. It leads to Madamamichi, a path laid in 1522 with Ryukyu limestone fitted tightly together, running from near Shuri Castle to the southern coast of Naha Port. Walking down from Shuri Castle, the entrance appears on the right past a tunnel of trees, and the path is listed among Japan's 100 Best Streets. The slope is steep and slippery on rainy days, so high heels and hard-to-walk-in shoes do not work here.
