Akomeya Shokudo is a Japanese home-style restaurant inside Tokyu Plaza Shibuya, with counter seating that suits solo diners. It serves tuna and natto rice bowls, egg soy sauce rice, ginger pork, and kamameshi set meals, and rice and seasonings can be bought on the spot. On a weekday at 11:30 a.m. all seats were taken, and after receiving a waiting ticket the wait was 10 to 15 minutes; on another visit it took over 30 minutes. Seating is counter-only, which makes it awkward for groups to sit together.
