Kuke Yuansu Strawberry Daifuku is a dessert shop in Taipei that takes pre-orders for strawberry daifuku and egg yolk pastries. The strawberry daifuku wraps a whole strawberry and red bean paste in a chewy skin, and the shop also sells egg yolk pastries and boxed sets. The strawberries are washed with ultrasound before being used, and the sweetness of the red bean paste is reduced to bring out the fruit's tartness and moisture. The shop accepts pre-orders only, so buying on the spot is difficult.
