Mataro Yakiniku is a grill-it-yourself yakiniku restaurant near Zhongshan Station and Wutiao Street in Taipei. It serves thinly sliced beef tongue, beef chuck flap, beef ribeye, thick pork tenderloin and beef ribs over charcoal, with scallion salt, chili sauce, yuzu vinegar and yakiniku sauce on the side. Meat is wrapped in lettuce and eaten with side dishes, seaweed and rice, and carbonated water is unlimited. Food can arrive late or be missing after ordering.
